New Hamburg ROMEOS Calling

The original purpose of the group was to bring together new neighbours who had moved from other parts of the Province of Ontario and also from other Provinces of Canada to our community of New Hamburg.

Initially the group was only composed of men from one street of the community but it has expanded to other areas as the need required. Initially the ROMEOS were run as a unique and isolated entity because the members had not been exposed to or were aware of the Organization's history and development. It only adopted the ROMEO name when it was found and referenced in a novel read by a member's wife.

The founding members then proceeded to allocate 'call signs' to each new participant based upon the Greek alphabet, Alpha to Omega, and grant a scroll to the new members.

Presently, we have 20 members as of January 1, 2013. This reflects a fluctuation of new and removed members from our inception. We may have to find a new alphabet very soon to maintain newer 'call signs'!!

Romeo Luncheon, February 9, 2012

Welcome to the Festival Inn in Stratford for our bi-weekly lunch.

Frankie's Lounge

Stay up late discussing the theatre, socializing with friends or indulging in sports at Frankie’s Lounge. With a large screen television and plenty of irresistible snacks and drinks, you’ll never want to leave.

The lounge is open from 11:30am to midnight, Monday through Saturday. Pub Menu is available from 2:00 to 9:00pm.

We will meet at Frankie's Lounge for lunch at 11:35am.
This is a new venue for the group, but be assured that the menu will
be excellent for all our tastes and the drinks will more than welcome.

The beer on tap only includes one light and one amber but the rest can
be ordered in bottle.

A great place for the Romeos. Like a private room with our own waitress.

This is a place to come back to in the future.
